Suicide First Aid®: Understanding Suicide Intervention (SFA USI), delivered in association with the National Centre for Suicide Prevention Education and Training (NCSPET) and accredited by City and Guilds of London, is an essential training programme, facilitated by experienced suicide prevention trainers.
This unique learning experience provides the knowledge needed to identify someone who may be thinking about suicide and intervene to help create suicide safety as a first aid approach. Using trainer-facilitated Socratic learning, trainer-led skills practice, mini lectures, group work and audio-visual presentations, this is a highly interactive and emotionally engaging learning experience. Learners who complete the SFA USI and the unit 407 assignment are eligible to apply to the City & Guilds to receive the E-Certificate worth 6 NQF Credits at Level 4.
