Resilience is the ability to work in times of adversity, uncertainty and change, emerging better off from these times, it falls under management responsibility to devise a plan that will help develop and support their teams effectively, whilst minimising stress. Building personal resilience in members of your team has been shown to have positive results in team morale and has a knock on positive effect on business goals and the overall workplace environment as a result.
The GBS Resilience and Personal Health and Wellbeing course has been designed for anyone who would benefit from building up the resilience of themselves or if a manager, help build up the resilience of their staff.

Good wellbeing can significantly assist with resilience. Wellbeing means having a good level of self-esteem and having a positive self-image which can help with the ability to adapt and cope to difficult situations.
There are several ways of improving upon one’s wellbeing and resilience. Being aware of strengths and weaknesses is key, as is setting achievable, realistic goals and working on social skills.
